Helping to Get You Back on Your Feet
Wound Care
We provide state-of-the-art wound care in our office setting. Most open wounds can be resolved with proper wound care in the office. We routinely treat simple lacerations and complex limb threatening wounds. We work as a team with vascular specialist and infectious disease specialist, when it comes to limb salvage and preventing amputation. Wounds often require removal of nonviable unhealthy tissue and application of specialized wound products to promote healing.
We offer a multitude of advanced biologic products such as amnionic tissue, and advanced grafting, which is shown to reduce healing time. Also modifying pressure sites with custom orthotics can reduce healing time. Many patients prefer a more personalized office setting for their wound care rather than a hospital-based wound care center. We are also on staff at the local hospitals to admit patients for more complex or infected wound cases.

Many of the procedures involved in alleviating the pain can be performed in the office, after most diagnosis.
Diabetic Foot Care
We have been protecting diabetic feet for many years by providing preventative foot care. Diabetics can be susceptible to serious conditions and routine podiatry visits can significantly reduce the chance of complex problems. Complications of diabetes can include nerve damage as well as peripheral vascular disease. Diabetic neuropathy is a nerve problem that can vary from subtle tingling and sometimes burning, to severe numbness in both feet and legs.
There are prescription medications to help control the discomfort of diabetic neuropathy. Diabetics can sometimes have injuries or wounds that are not painful due to their nerve disease. Diabetics can also have a problem healing due to their high blood sugar and poor circulation. We specialize in providing regular nail and callus care which can help prevent wounds or infections. Diabetic shoes and custom soft inserts are also provided in our office which are very protective in preventing wounds.
